Accessibility features for people with disabilities

In enabling digital accessibility for the official website of JetOS d.o.o., the methods used to make the site as accessible as possible to users are described - people with visual impairments (color blindness, low vision, blindness), motor skills (partial or complete loss of hands, muscle weakness, involuntary movements, tremor, loss of fine motor control), hearing (partial or complete hearing loss), certain learning disabilities (language, reading, dyslexia, writing), as well as instructions on what to do if you want to send us questions or comments.

The site https://jetos.hr can be viewed on screens of a wide range of sizes, and the text size can be adjusted to the needs of users. The site also includes a search engine, which makes it easier to find information.

The site https://jetos.hr can also be viewed using a special reader for blind people (Screen reader), handheld device (Handheld device), screen magnifier, and slow or limited connectivity (56kb modem).

We believe that the website of JetOs d.o.o. meets or exceeds the requirements of Criterion A defined in the Web Accessibility Initiative (WCAG WAI) 2.0 guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative (WCAG WAI) 2.0 guidelines.

The site is constantly being improved in order to comply with the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0" and compliance with the novelties (WCAG) 2.1 and the standard (WAI-ARIA) 1.1.

The website https://jetos.hr supports the initiative of the Accessibility Community (WAI), together with the European Disability Forum (EDF), the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), the Internet Community for Disability and Special Needs (ISOC DISAB) and the International Center for Disabled Internet Resources (ICDRI).

Changing font size and display size settings

The text size of content can be changed via the accessibility page option in the upper right part of the screen or via the text size option in the browser settings. The accessibility page option also allows you to activate a readable font, which switches text content to Arial font.

Keyboard navigation

Keyboard navigation is enabled by pressing the Tab key, which places the focus on the first item on the page, while pressing the Enter key allows you to select a specific item. Pressing the Tab key again places the focus on the next selectable item on that page. Pressing the Shift + Tab key combination places the focus on the previous selectable item on that page. It is also possible to enable element highlighting on the page when using the Tab key.

Link text

Links to external content or content within the page are clearly highlighted and written in text whose characteristics differ from those of the regular text on the page, and they can be highlighted by coloring the elements in which they are located and/or underlining the text that is the link.

Color contrast

We reviewed the palette of different combinations of text colors and background colors to choose an appropriate contrast. We made sure that color was not the only element that referred to the information. In case of difficulty in reading, it is possible to include a contrast of white background and black text or include an inversion of the current colors.

Text equivalent for images and graphic shapes

Images have the ability to display a text equivalent, and images can also be converted to a monochrome form.

Header, body, and footer elements

The structure of the page is shown by the header, body, and footer elements in HTML in accordance with assistive technologies that enable page navigation from the header to the footer.

Independence from the JavaScript programming language

In places where JavaScript or another programming language is used for page navigation and functionality, alternative mechanisms are available in case your browser does not support these languages.

Style sheets

The content is properly structured and marked up with CSS. Content on web pages can be accessed even if style sheets are not supported or their display is not enabled by selection.

If you have problems viewing the https://jetos.hr page on outdated versions of Web browsers, we recommend upgrading to the latest version (all are free). Alternatively, disable the display of cascading style sheets (CSS) in your Web browser.
